A couple weeks ago I noticed I had a new Twitter follower: @MyManifesta. Intrigued, I hopped over to the website, and my jaw dropped.
Gorgeous, brightly colored, high-quality workout gear…made specifically for a curvy shape, in sizes up to 26. Right here in Philly.
Um, yes please!
I wasted no time, and two days later, I received a package in the mail with a pair of Drop It Like A Squat capris, and an All The Right Moves tank.
About 30 seconds after that, I had them on my body and was ready to go for a 7-mile run:

Beautiful, no?
Here’s the rear view:

I am delighted to say, this outfit was an absolute joy to run in. It passed all but one of my strict running criteria:
- No creeping up
- No creeping down
- No chafing (and I ran without BodyGlide just to test this out)
- Breathable
- High quality fabric: not see-through when stretched
- High quality craftsmanship
- Soft and comfy to wear
- Flattering
- Fits me in all the right places – no gapping anywhere
- And the most important: PRETTY & PINK!
The only thing missing was a pocket for my keys/phone. But that’s nothing that a SPI-Belt can’t take care of, right?
I absolutely love this outfit. The material is so luxurious – soft but strong – and the stitching is impeccable (check out these details):

The cut of both the capris and top were just perfect for my hourglass shape, and the design of the top cleverly looked like layering but without extra fabric. The ruching on the left side was also adjustable. And again – the craftsmanship was incredible:

But my favorite thing by far about Manifesta is that it is a woman-owned small business, using sustainably-sourced materials, and local manufacturing. Right here in Philly! So cool.

Disclaimer: I received this outfit in exchange for providing an honest and truthful review. All opinions are my own.
I went to their website, although their clothes are cute and look like they fit well their prices are way too high for what I want to pay for workout clothes….especially since I work out 5-6 days a week.
Super cute, and they look great on you. I like that they offer regular and plus sizes — as someone who sometimes gets stuck in the black hole between regular and plus sizing. They should put their size chart on every item page.
I have a pretty hefty stock of workout clothes since I have been running for so long. I don’t really go for cute or glamorous this time of year for running — I am more interested in warmth. But I would love to wear something like that tank to yoga or Pilates.
